Hope this holiday season finds everyone out here in blogger land doing well.
It has been ages since my last post and I owe it all to one wonderous event--drumroll please!!!!
I am no longer a Gas Girl! Yes, friends, you read that right.
Elvis has left the building! (more accurately, Lisa has quit her job)
On to bigger and better things...guess this means I need a new title for my blog?
Oh, well...
Peace, Love, and Happiness to you and yours this holiday season!
Love,
Gas Girl No More

Ooopps...
Recently a friend of mine, and former sexual partner advised me that I was number 6 on his list of conquests. Our coupling occured about 11 years ago when he was 20-ish and I was 19.
I was intrigued and decided to set to the task of assigning him a number in my history.
Unfortunately, I became depressed before I could complete the task.
Perhaps I will try again later.
Man, I was a slut!!

BAM!
We talked on the phone for about 45 minutes the other night and have emailed every day this week. We made plans to get together last night-just met up at the local book store for a cup of joe and conversation.
We arrived in the parking lot at the exact same time and parked next to each other. When I got out of my car he greeted me with a great hug and light kiss.
We went inside, browsed around for a bit, then grabbed our drinks and went outside to sit on the patio. Conversation flowed very easily--as it always does between the two us. He looked amazing wearing a blue shirt that accented his eyes in the most becoming way :).
When it was time to go, we headed out to the parking lot to say our goodbyes. A few more light kisses followed, nothing major--but all I would allow.
I wonder if he knows the level of restraint it took on my part to not go any further?
I am definitely attracted to him--maybe more so now than ever before, but I just want to be sure I am doing what I truly want to do, and not just getting caught up in the moment. This is a big deal for me, and I need to think things through.
I am really afraid that if things go too far, I am going to become emotionally attached to him and considering the current situation, that would be very bad. Need to be sure detachment is firmly in place before proceeding!
But, damn!!! I want him.
Bad.

Kisses
OMG! I guess I was feeling brave before vacation and I asked him why he had not kissed me yet!!!
His answer was "I want to, but did not know if that is what you wanted"
Well, heck yeah it is :)
I guess we will see what happens now.
Stay tuned...

Round Two
So, we met for lunch again yesterday.
Same plan as before, only this time he came down a few minutes early. We had a nice lunch and conversation flowed freely the entire time. We drifted from one topic to the next and once again, it felt great to catch up and learn more about the person he has become.
Nice hugs marked the end of our lunch date and plans are already underway for us to get together again.
I am leaving for vacation two days from now and we will be out of touch for 10 days--that is very sad :(
More to come...

:) :) :)
I love sitting at my desk and seeing my outlook folder pop up on the screen announcing the arrival of a new message from him. There is never much in the messages, just one or two lines of idle chit-chat, but it is enough to bring a smile to my face.
I have said it before, and I am sure I will say it again--I love reuniting with special people from the past! I love the thrill, the rush, the emotions, the whole deal. This one is a little different than others though. This one is special. He always has been special to me--far more than he would have realized. I am thankful and greatful and happy as can be about our reunion!
Long live the happy times :)
